My dear friend Lauren was absolutely glowing during her maternity session. I LOVE capturing this time in a woman's life. There is nothing like it. Feeling him move around your tummy, wondering what he will look like, imagining his future... I know without a doubt this sweet boy with be in the best hands.

Lauren & Aaron, I hope you look back at these one day & remember how it felt waiting for your  firstborn to arrive. You two are going to make wonderful parents! xoxo





{a birth story} The Huie's

What can I say about Kent & Kendra.... they are truly two of the kindest, most easygoing, genuinely thoughtful people I've met. Kent was SUCH a rock for Kendra, tending to her needs, getting her ice chips & purple popsicles, & holding her hand through the most important day of their lives... not that Kendra even needed it! I swear, I have NEVER seen/heard/imagined someone who experienced labor quite like Kendra. She was calm. Steady. Present in each moment. Strong. Happy. Excited. So many emotions, none of them fearful or worried about delivering the gorgeous NINE POUND baby on his way.

You guys, I cannot thank you enough for your trust in me to capture this once in a lifetime moment for you. Your love for each other is beautiful, Weston is beautiful, & your new family of 3 is beautiful. You're going to be the BEST parents. xoxo

When my dear friend Lauren told me she was {finally!} having a baby, I cried. In public. Like, totally overjoyed-can't-get-control-of-myself-ugly cry. I was BEYOND thrilled for her {& I think the whole restaurant knew I was beyond thrilled for her.}

Lauren & Brian, I could not be happier for this perfect addition to your lives. Connor is an angel, from his teeny toes, to his dinosaur noises. Love you guys so much! xoxo

Oh Sweet baby Maxwell. He totally stole my heart. The smoochiest lips, cutest raspy voice, soft expressions. I've known his mom Jessica since first grade! She & her husband are over the moon for this little guy.
